Call of Duty: Warzone
Short description
Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale video game developed by Infinity Ward and Raven Software and published by Activision. It is the fourteenth installment in the Call of Duty series and the third installment of the Modern Warfare sub-series. The game was released on March 10, 2020, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The game features two modes: Battle Royale and Plunder. In Battle Royale, up to 150 players drop into a large map to compete in a last-man-standing deathmatch. Players can choose to play solo or in teams of up to four players. The goal is to be the last player or team standing at the end of the match. In Plunder, up to 150 players drop into a smaller map with an objective-based mode where they must collect cash by completing contracts or looting items around the map. The team with the most cash at the end of the match wins.
The game also features various customization options such as loadouts, skins, and other cosmetic items that can be purchased with in-game currency or real money.
Use the mini map to your advantage. Always keep an eye on it to spot enemies and plan your movements accordingly. Utilize the environment to your advantage. Use buildings, trees, and other objects as cover when moving around the map. Stay aware of your surroundings at all times. Listen for footsteps and gunshots to help you locate enemies before they can spot you. Utilize vehicles when possible to quickly traverse the map and surprise enemies with unexpected flanking maneuvers. Make use of the various weapons available in Warzone, such as sniper rifles, shotguns, and assault rifles, depending on the situation you’re in. Communicate with your team whenever possible to coordinate strategies and share information about enemy locations or movements.
